Teracon was commissioned by Ruukki Building Systems Oy in the end of January 2020 to design DLS Bålsta logistics center which is located on the north side of Stockholm. Teracon’s scope of the contract consisted of designing the steel frame and hollow-core decks. The object is the largest individual design object in Teracon’s history.
The logistics center has an area of approximately 100 000 m², length of 580 m, width of 180 m and a height of 30 m. The logistics center will be one of Europes largest and most modern warehouses that serve food trade both as retail and online. The logistics center is planned to be operational in 2023.
