Skihallen will be the largest indoor skiing centre in the world! The project design and implementation was given the green light in 2015. The skiing centre will open its doors to users in early 2020. The centre is dimensioned to accommodate 1,000 customers simultaneously. In addition to this, there is ample space for additional visitors in a terrain park and hotel, restaurants and shops, which are all located in the immediate vicinity of the skiing hall. The downhill slopes and the cross-country skiing track will be used throughout the year. The length of the skiing centre’s hall section is slightly over 500m and its maximum width about 100m.
